Hi, I’m Kana.
I’m currently accepting new clients.
I work with individuals, teens, and couples moving through transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. I’m trained with evidence-based and trauma informed theories as well as the Gottman Institute method for couples.
My style is warm, curious, and reflective, and I aim to help you understand the patterns that shaped you so you can grow into a more grounded, authentic version of yourself.
My clinical approach pulls from Psychodynamic, Jungian, Humanistic, and depth-oriented traditions while showing up in the room from a post modern strengths base presence, particularly leaning on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, and Solutions Focused Therapy.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent years working in tech and venture capital supporting founders, executives, and creative teams. That world taught me a lot about ambition, pressure, leadership, and what it means to hold yourself together while so much is expected of you. It also showed me how much people long for a space where they can slow down, speak honestly, and feel understood.
I also come from a multicultural family background, and I carry that lens into the therapy room. I know what it’s like to navigate multiple identities, family expectations, and the feeling of moving between different worlds. These experiences shape how I listen and how I hold space for clients whose stories are layered and complex.
I believe therapy works best when it honors your full story — past, present, professional, personal, and everything in between — and I’m here to walk with you as you make sense of it all.
Let’s work together:
